Oladipupo Adesanya - Climate Action Officer

About me:

I joined ORL as the Climate Action Officer, bringing an architectural background and a strong interest in how climate, sustainability and community intersect. My journey into climate work has always been people focused, I’m most interested in how environmental action can be practical, empowering and rooted in everyday life. I’ve always been drawn to hands-on methods, either through building, designing, making, or turning complex ideas into something people can see and do.

At ORL, my role centres on delivering the LEAF project by supporting residents and staff to build climate awareness through practical activities like low-cost cooking, gardening, climate workshops and upcycling art sessions.

Favourite film:
The Figurine

Favourite author:
John Grisham

Favourite colour:
Black

Best thing about me:
My creative ability to turn ideas into action.

Worst thing about me:

I’m always thinking about the next project.

Why I enjoy working at ORL:
I value the teamwork and effort centred around dignity, hope and growth. Seeing small

individual actions turn into collective impact is what makes the work meaningful.
