The Anchor Centre aims to provide a safe environment for street drinkers and homeless people with alcohol dependency issues as an alternative to drinking on the street. The centre has health trainers on site Monday -Thursday who will offer advice, advocate and assist in relation to making and meeting appointments with GP's, Dentist, hospitals. In addition talk to individuals and or groups about how they can make lifestyle changes, with what is on offer, in order for them to achieve results they want.
The anchor centre is a "Wet" centre for street drinkers.
People attending the centre have access to:
Access to GP service and Treatment Alcohol Nurse.
IT support and general activities programme.
Lunch Wednesday and Thursday.
