ORL CEO receives MBE

Salma Ravat MBE invited to Windsor Castle to receive her MBE from HRH Prince of Wales - Prince William

On Tuesday 13th May 2025 Salma attended the investiture ceremony at Windsor Castle where she was presented with her MBE in recognition for her work to ending homelessness.

Salma has developed ORL from a networking forum set up in 2011 to registering as a charity in 2014. In that time Salma has worked tirelessly to grow and develop the work of the charity, has built strong relationships with partner organisations, supporters, funders, volunteers and the community to ensure our residents receive the support they need to find a suitable and permanent home.
